Codes, cards and fobs
Choose a suitable way for people to enter. Phone-based access is available only with compatible equipment and setup.
Access control
Choose who can enter using codes, cards or fobs. Access control for Perth homes and businesses, with suitable locks and straightforward user management.
Planned for your property
Give household members or staff the access they need and remove it when circumstances change. We assess the entrance, install the agreed equipment and show you how to manage it.
What to keep in mind. The design considers the door or gate, lock, power supply, safe exit, emergency release and behaviour during power failure. Site requirements and any necessary approvals are confirmed before installation, including applicable building and fire-safety requirements.
A reader accepts a supported credential, such as a code, card or fob. A controller checks its permissions and operates the connected locking or release hardware.
The design considers the complete entrance: door or gate condition, latch alignment, closing, exit controls, power supply, emergency release and behaviour during power failure. The selected hardware must suit the opening and applicable site requirements.
Installation includes configuring and testing the agreed entry and exit functions. Connecting an intercom or alarm requires a compatible interface and an explicitly agreed function.
We assess the opening, locking hardware and users before selecting the reader and release controls.
What your system can do
Choose a suitable way for people to enter. Phone-based access is available only with compatible equipment and setup.
Match the lock and release controls to the door or gate, including how people leave safely.
Add or remove a user without changing everyone’s key. Timed access and activity records depend on the selected system and agreed scope.
Release an entrance from a compatible intercom or connect other agreed security functions. Each connection is checked before it is included.
A credential is the code, card, fob or supported mobile credential used to request access. Permissions determine which entrances it can operate; supported schedules limit when it can be used.
For example, a staff credential could work during agreed hours and be disabled when lost. Individual credentials make administration clearer than shared codes.
Event records, where supported and included, show recorded access activity. They do not prove which person used a shared credential. Account permissions, retained event history and administrator access are configured for the selected system.
Before equipment is selected
Assess authorised entry, safe exit and what happens during a fault or power loss.
We assess the entrance, safe exit and what should happen during a fault or power cut. Any required approvals are confirmed before work starts.
Choose who manages users, which entrances they can use and how lost fobs or departing staff will be handled.
Agree any links to the intercom, cameras or alarm before buying or replacing equipment. Compatibility is checked for each connection.
Nominate an authorised administrator and agree how credentials will be issued, changed and removed. Review access after a lost fob, a staff departure or a change in who uses the property.
Door-entry permissions, camera accounts and alarm access may be managed separately. Removing someone from one system does not necessarily remove their access to the others.
Test changes with an authorised user and arrange servicing if doors stop latching, readers become unreliable or the system reports a power or communication fault.
Our lock work covers advice and installation. Lock maintenance and repairs, security-screen doors and other work outside our licence scope require an appropriately licensed provider. Each quote identifies the agreed equipment and installation work.
